A hands on introduction to the old fiddle music of southern Norway. Most often played on Hardanger fiddle this music has a unique structure and style. Instruction will be on ordinary violin at A440 but with the bass string tuned up to A. Music taught can be played either on violin or Hardanger fiddle. Listeners are welcome to come and learn about the music.

Enchanting stories and tunes from southern Norway played on Norway's unique 8 stringed fiddle. This is aural tradition music and storytelling with direct person to person lineages going back at least 400 years.
