Festival Sampler

Come Sample the New England Folk Festival!

Saturday, April 26, 2025 – 11am to 4pm

A NEFFA Sampler ticket ($10; kids under 8 are free) is a great way to explore some of what the New England Folk Festival has to offer. Shop at the Festival Marketplace, watch traditional dances from around the world, and experience folk music, storytelling and exhibits at the Ramblin’ Road Show and Homemade Hootenanny. Take the kids to the Family Activities Area, then enjoy a snack at the food trucks while watching more traditional dance outside.

A Sampler ticket is time limited to Saturday from 11AM-4PM, and gains you admission to the Trade Center and outdoor areas including the music tent. The main dance hall in the Trade Center is open to NEFFA Sampler ticketholders for dance performances from 2-4pm. If you think you might enjoy more dancing or music, we will gladly sell you a ticket which allows access to the rest of the Festival!

The Festival Marketplace is an awesome place to shop, presenting an internationally diverse group of vendors, including craftspeople showing their own work, organizations that provide services to the folk music, dance, and song community, and commercial vendors with products of special interest to the folk community.

The Family Activities Area is a great place for your family to hang out, make a craft project, get your face painted, or learn to weave, hula hoop, or play an instrument!

Costumed ethnic performing groups have always been a part of NEFFA representing many different cultures such as Middle Eastern, Indian, Bulgarian, Filipino, Polish, and Scandinavian. Come watch in the dance hall from 2-4PM!

Dozens of morris teams dance outside as a welcoming sight to new and returning Festival-goers alike. Which is more exciting – the swords or the sticks?

There will be food trucks outside the Trade Center selling a variety of hot food, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Enjoy plenty of dance and music with your lunch!
