Getting to the Festival – New England Folk Festival Association

The Festival will be at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, MA.

Driving Directions

Follow I-495 to US-20 W/Lakeside Ave in Marlborough. Take exit 63B from I-495. Follow US-20 west for .8 miles, turn right onto Royal Plaza Drive, and continue less than half a mile to the Trade Center and Hotel.

Parking

There’s free parking at the Hotel and Trade Center. Accessible parking is available at the Festival Venue in front of the Hotel and the Trade Center.
As the Festival is growing, we encourage people to carpool as much as possible.

EV charging

Unfortunately, neither our main hotel nor the trade center have EV charging available.

The closest working charge points are near our overflow hotel, at 293 Boston Post Rd W, Marlborough. Their website is https://afdc.energy.gov/fuels/electricity_locations.html#/station/189268
While there is a charging station at the Hanaford in the nearby shopping plaza, that one seems to be broken.

By public transportation

Public transportation is limited, but these resources may help:

MBTA Commuter Rail – The closest stations are Southborough and Framingham, both on the Framingham/Worcester line. From there, you need to take a taxi or ride-share company. NEFFA is offering a $15 per ride reimbursement for riders using Lyft, Uber, or taxi. (See below)
Logan Express – This express bus service brings you from Logan Airport terminals to the Framingham Logan Express terminal in the Natick Mall Garage From there, you need to take a taxi or ride-share company. NEFFA is offering $15 per ride reimbursement for riders using Lyft, Uber, or taxi. (See below)

$15 ride-share or taxi reimbursement offer

NEFFA is offering a $15 taxi or ride-share reimbursement discount to get to and from the Festival Venue. The reimbursement is only for use between the Festival Venue and the Southborough or Framingham commuter rail stations, or between the Festival Venue and the Framingham Logan Express terminal.

The offer is valid between the Thursday before the Festival and the Monday after the Festival. You may request up to 4 reimbursement discounts for getting to and from the Festival.

To obtain the reimbursement:

You need to provide a copy of your ride receipt(s) and your address to NEFFA for reimbursement.
